I thought Sarah and Lindsay brought up a very important but likely most overlooked discussion point about some 68 school choices being available in Durham County. While the notion that more choice might seem preferable to many parents there can be some serious unintended consequences regarding public school funding, student diversity and whether legislatures are truly fulfilling their often stated promises of strengthening education for their constituents.
